My name is Jasmine, as owner and employee, I've spent most of my career as a frontend-leaning full-stack software engineer, but my experience has always extended beyond writing code. What I enjoy most about this work is the variety. Every project brings different challenges, and I like being able to wear different hats—whether that's building features or deriving requirements from genuine user challenges.

A big part of my role is connecting technology, business needs, and data. I enjoy tackling a problem, breaking it down, and collaboratively determining what should be built, why it matters, and how its success should be measured. I'm particularly engaged in analysis and understanding the story behind the numbers. Reporting metrics is useful, but uncovering insights that drive action is where data becomes valuable.

I'm comfortable joining projects at any stage, whether building a R&D prototype from scratch or stepping into an established system that’s already being used in production. I don't expect to know every technology before a project begins. I’ve found strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly are what it takes to make an impact.

I've supported both commercial and federal customers, working in environments with different priorities, processes, and levels of complexity. I understand the importance of balancing technical solutions with operational constraints. I also hold the necessary clearances to access systems at both the classified and public trust levels.

My speciality is application development and analysis. I work well alongside infrastructure, security, and operations teams, but I don't position myself as a DevSecOps or infrastructure-as-code specialist. My strength is building software and connecting the people, technology, and decisions that make projects successful.

At the end of the day, I enjoy problem solving. Sometimes that means writing code. Sometimes it means talking to users and stakeholders in order to break down a complicated challenge into something manageable. Whatever role the project calls for, my goal is to help move it forward.
